The reform to decentralise (or penalise) paid on-street parking in France was approved when the MAPTAM Act (Modernisation of Public Territorial Action and Affirmation of Metropolises) was passed, and entered into force on 1 January 2018. It is a chance for local authorities to improve the organisation of on-street parking and to delegate all or part of the parking management process to a third party.

With 25 years of experience, Indigo advises and supports local authorities in the management of on-street parking by offering tailor-made services and tools that are adapted to their transport strategies. As the world leader in parking and urban mobility, Indigo has 127 on-street parking contracts in eight countries around the world, managing a total of 310,000 parking spaces.

Indigo provides an integrated service along the whole on-street parking management chain.
