Hautepierre Hospital, connected to Hôpitaux Universitaires de Strasbourg, is one of the city’s largest, with 916 beds. Ensuring the quality of a hospital car park is paramount: special care must be taken for visitors’ as it is their first and last point of contact.

We designed, financed and built the Hautepierre Hospital car park to meet the needs tied to the opening of two new buildings in 2018. With a capacity of 813 spaces, including 153 underground spaced reserved for hospital staff, the car park has five levels.

The Hautepierre Hospital car park offers a number of services designed to ease the flow of traffic and receive staff, patients and visitors alike, including GPS guidance to a space, charging points and an open drop-off area.

Operating attendants are available to provide assistance during visiting hours on a daily basis. Furthermore, the car park is connected to the National Centre for Remote Operations and Assistance (CNTO), which is open 24/7. In partnership with Hôpitaux Universitaires de Strasbourg, a covered waiting area and a bike rack have been added.

Although we work in different industries, we have an obvious common interest in this project which is to give users a warm welcome: the car park will be our patients’ first and last point of contact with the hospital. We will be partners for an extended period of time (30 years) in order to prioritise this reception, which is a key factor in the establishment of our hospital.
