INDIGO Brasil takes over operation, which will improve the experience of visitors by modernizing the car park management.

In Brazil, INDIGO takes over the operation for a period of 20 years of a 1,200 parking spaces in Ibirapuera Park, one of the largest green spaces in Latin America receiving more than 14 million visitors per year, located in the city of São Paulo.

INDIGO will invest to improve the reception of motorists by modernizing the car park (access, automatic gates, security system, services) while lowering rates, thus improving the customer experience.

The changes can be seen in the next few days, with the implementation of automated barriers, signage and painting. The car park will also have a modern security system, with cameras connected to ConnecPark, Indigo’s Group technology, considered the largest remote car park monitoring center in Brazil, with evaluation of images 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In total, more than R$ 1 million will be invested in improvements and modernization of Ibirapuera car park. In addition, users will rely on the guidance of specialized professionals for on-site care or through the Relationship Center if they need.

For Thiago Piovesan, INDIGO’s Brazil Executive Director, it is necessary to manage the car park as a mobility hub, connecting the city and people to the park, with a service of excellence:

Our performance in the administration of car park in The Ibirapuera Park will be an important contribution to the positive experience of the visitors. The INDIGO Group has been working for more than 50 years in the management of car parks and individual mobility in several cities around the world. Our intention in this project, in partnership with Urbia, the company responsible for the management of the park, will improve the flow in space, modernize the structure and offer a safe and quality service.

The new management of the car park is a partnership between the INDIGO Group and Urbia Parks Management, the company responsible for the management of the Ibirapuera Park.

Samuel Lloyd, Urbia’s Commercial Director, explains that the novelty aims to improve the offer of services to park visitors:

The parking will bring more security and convenience to visitors. We could not be more pleased to choose INDIGO, one of the most modern car parks companies, for this task. We are convinced that the use of technologies will ensure greater organization for this space.
